SolRiver Capital is seeking a Renewable Energy Marketing Manager. This position is for someone motivated to learn, with strong writing skills, B2B marketing experience, and passionate about building a renewable energy future. 



The Marketing Manager will execute and manage all of SolRiver’s communications efforts. We reach out to partners via email, advertising, and content marketing. We are seeking a person to spearhead all market research, content creation, and daily marketing ops.


SolRiver Capital is a rapidly growing solar investment fund focused on acquiring and operating distributed generation and utility scale projects. Founded in 2016 by solar and storage finance experts, SolRiver utilizes an innovative yet disciplined investment approach to acquire clean energy assets across the country. We began with a single $3MM system, and four years later we have projects in 8 different states, with $200MM to deploy over the next twelve months. A key to our success is a small, talented, hard- working team. Our ethos is an entrepreneurial culture of ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.


Content Creation:
  • Write persuasive marketing articles and thought leadership pieces.

  • Draft press releases and manage media engagement.

  • Develop polished presentations and collateral.

Campaign Management:
  • Use our CRM to monitor and manage responses to all targets.

  • Manage systematic email campaigns.

  • Monitor and modify various digital ad campaigns.

Market Research & Lead Generation:
  • Identify new prospects through regular online research and data mining.

  • Manage virtual assistants and other outsourced service providers.

Web Optimization:
  • Consistently improve our website’s conversion rate of inbound traffic.

  • Enhance our site’s SEO through onpage and backlink tactics.


  • Experience with B2B marketing.

  • Experience running email campaigns using an EMS (Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc).

  • Experience writing and posting website content.

  • Fluent in standard SEO practices.

  • Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, Adwords, Hubspot, and Excel.

  • Very web-tech saavy. Not a software developer. Just above average on how to leverage online web apps and other tools, like Google Tag Manager, Zapier, and Divi.

  • An eye for design – it’s important you know how to make written work product look polished.

  • Project management or similar experience building daily operational skillset.
