In 2020, SolRiver Capital started installation on a 5.8MW solar system in Southwestern North Carolina. When installed, this ground-mount system is expected to output 8,287,194 kWh in its first year of operation, equivalent to the annual energy us of almost 680 homes. According to EPA data, the system will offset almost 5,900 metric tons of carbon dioxide in the first year alone – the equivalent of over 14,500,000 miles driven in cars annually.
SolRiver’s flexibility in project acquisition is one key to its success. SolRiver was able to acquire the project, purchase the site, and issue NTP in less than a month. Another key to success, is SolRiver’s long term view on the North Carolina market.
